Why Choose Us

The standard of care South African families trust.

Beyond credentials, our work is defined by clinical rigour, attentive matching, and the operational continuity families rely on, week after week, year after year.

Clinical care planning

Every engagement begins with a registered nurse's assessment and a documented, family-reviewed care plan.

Caregiver matching

We pair clients with caregivers selected for clinical fit, language, culture, and personality. Replacements are available on request.

Flexible care models

Live-in, shift-based, hybrid, and digital care, combined and adjusted as your circumstances evolve.

Continuity & cover

Vetted relief caregivers provide seamless cover for leave, ensuring continuity of care without additional placement fees.

Reputation & Trust

Credentials, compliance, and accountability, documented.

Diversity Health operates under the regulatory frameworks that govern South African healthcare. The standards below are independent of marketing, they are the licensing, training, and verification requirements that every engagement is delivered against.

Regulatory compliance

Licensed under the National Health Act and aligned with the Department of Health's home and community-based care guidelines. Operations meet Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requirements and POPIA data-protection standards.

Caregiver credentials

Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nursing Auxiliaries are registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC). Counsellors and allied practitioners are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).

Vetting & verification

Every caregiver completes criminal background screening, qualification verification, and reference checks. Paediatric placements include additional clearance against the National Child Protection Register.

Certifications & training

Mandatory accreditation in Basic Life Support, First Aid Level 3, infection control, and dementia-care fundamentals. Continuous professional development hours are tracked annually for every clinician.

Indemnity & insurance

Comprehensive professional indemnity, public liability, and motor cover for transport services, extended to every active engagement, with documentation available on request.

Data & privacy

All clinical and family records are stored on POPIA-compliant infrastructure with role-based access. Family dashboards display only the information you have explicitly authorised us to share.

Compliance documentation, registration numbers, and indemnity certificates are available on request.
